This website is to provide alternative methods of treatment for veterinary problems. The use of pure and potent essential oils of therapeutic grade is reccomended. This qualtiy of essential oil is the only grade that is safe and beneficial in a medical environment. Essential oils are derived from plants through the method of steam distillation. After extracted the oils is graded using the standards of International Standards for Essential Oils. Only the essential oils passing this test are used for therapeutic applications. Oils that are unacceptable are used in soaps, perfumes. air freshener. etc.
M & M Aromapet is the name of the consultation business. This business is associated with MaRiLa Veterinary Clinic in Cross Plains,Wisconsin. All veterinary services are provided through this clinic. It is preferred, if the animal is in the area, that they have an intial visit for a veterinary exam and to discuss the problem. If this is a long distance consultation, the appropriate records must be forwarded in order for care to be given. The upmost concern for the patient is our policy. This may mean a delay in treatement protocol for use of essential oils in a problem until the correct history and records are gathering and interpreted.
Therapeutic Essential Oils
Therapeutic Essential Oils have been around since the time of the Egyptians and were used during Biblical times quite commonly. With the advent of converntional medicine, the use of the oils was all but forgotton. The recent problems in the use of modern medicine, the toxic effects of too many chemicals in the environment, and people wanting alternatives and natural solutions to their family's health has brought essential oils and other alternatives into consideration. Essential oils can help keep the body healthy and in alignment so conventional methods can be used later. Antibiotic resistance, chemotherapy benefits and side effects, and overall health is improved. The consultation is set up much like an appointment. Payment must reach my account or my practice before consultations can be completed. If the consultation needs to be rescheduled then call prior to the time. Having as much information about your pet and the prior veterinary history is helpful. Any questions or concerns about the reccomendations are welcome. Having a list of medications your pet is on at the time of consultation allows for the essential oils to be used that are most helpful and without interaction that maybe contraindicated.
